Our Story
The idea of Jahnda was first envisioned by its founder in 2005 in a remote region of Afghanistan. Having been severely wounded during a previous combat tour to Iraq, his military service would be short-lived, and he began to wonder how he could continue serving his country as a civilian. With extensive experience in logistical operations in combat environments, he began to formulate a business strategy to address the challenges associated with one critical area of logistics – procurement.
As a wounded veteran, he quickly saw first-hand how difficult procurement was for agencies like the US Department of Veterans Affairs. So, he built a company that would continually seek to optimize procurement efforts for all government agencies. Today, Jahnda is a government supplier of 2 million products and services falling into three distinct categories – Industrial, Medical / Surgical (to include Laboratory and Clinical) and Office. By maintaining an ever-growing online product catalog, while similarly offering tangential services related to those products, Jahnda continues to execute upon and enhance its strategy in the ever-evolving landscape of government procurement.

Our Mission
With years of experience in government procurement, Jahnda continually aims to improve, simplify and streamline the acquisition process for all government agencies. We recognize and appreciate the complexities associated with procurement, so we built an e-commerce solution that seeks to enhance the efficiencies of your everyday ordering and quoting responsibilities while preserving compliance.

Why Jahnda
We believe we are the ONLY Small Business in government procurement that has invested in the capability to directly manage an e-commerce platform that lists 2 million in-stock products – all available for instant purchase and immediate shipment.
On top of this, we’ve built a one-of-a-kind quoting tool that permits unlimited quote requests for any of our 2 million in-stock items, as well as items that are not listed in our e-commerce catalog. Just in case you need that 2,000,001 product.
